Clean, convenet to Alamodome, room was comfortable
For a better price than other nearby upscale hotels, I got a very nice room, and breakfast and wifi were included.
The breakfast was really good. And the location was fab - great to see all the San Antonio sites.
Valet parking, which was $21 and was the only option available for car parking!
My wheelchair-bound husband and I spent a week in October 2012 at Springhill Suites in one of the wheelchair accessible rooms. The suite was terrific for our needs-lots of room for the wheelchair to move around in, a fantastic wheel-in shower bathroom, with a separate room for a sink that actually had lots of counter space to put out our grooming and medical items. The staff were really helpful when we experienced flats on the wheelchair tires on 2 successive days, and jumped to assist me in putting in/removing the wheelchair from our vehicle. The fitness room, although small, was wellappointed with high end workout machines and even some good free weights. I needed the workouts because the free breakfast was the absolute best I have ever had at any hotel we have stayed at, and we always try to get accommodation with breakfast included because it is easier for us. We can not say enough about the staff, accommodations, location, and food, and would not hesitate to recommend Springhill Suites to anyone, especially a disabled traveller.
I have no complaints, but would suggest that having a bath chair available upon request would be helpful/necessary for some disabled travellers. Also, it would be great if a floor mat was available in the fitness area for core work.
The rooms were very spacies and clean. Walking distance from Alamo and Riverwalk. Facilities in room.
Morning breakfast a bit chaotic .Not enough place for everybody to sit down and enjoy comfortable.
Our stay was relaxing and comfortable and I would stay here again.
I expect to pay for parking in san antonio but I thought 21.00 a day was to much.
Great location. good breakfast and room was comfortable and clean. Exactly what we needed.
Check in was hastle free. The valet parking was great as we arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm after being at an amusement park all day long.
After being at an amusement park all day all we wanted was to all take a hot shower and get some rest. While making reservations thru bookit.com I clearly stated that there was to be four people in our room. I had expected enought towels in our bath room to accommodate our needs. I called the front desk twice and walked down to the front desk to personally make the request I had been assured our towels would be delivered. 30 minutes later still no towels but I sure received a copy of my total bill before sunrise and still no additional towels. I called the front desk a third time and no one answered the phone. I will never stay at this hotel again an i will definately NOT recommend it to anyone.
The comfort of the bed and how slick it was
Then walls could hear next room and valet a little high
It was very clean and the suite was the perfect size. The staff was so helpful. The breakfast has so much variety. I would definitely stay there again.
We liked the pool area. It was privte area. Beds were great to. House keeping did a great job.
We are a family of 4. Two adult's two children, there was no place to put or cloths so we could not unpack. The rooms have no dresser's and tiny closet'S. When we parked or car the vallet let me know from the first day that we needed to tip. I gave him $20.00 and he acted like that was not enough. My thinking was I already was going to pay $21.00 a day to park. I wanted to say somthing to managment but my wife said no we did not want anything to happen to our car. I also noticed that if you wanted your car and did not want to wait you needed to have money in hand to tip.
price & location
we stayed at the end of the hallway, and the exit/stairwell door kept being slammed all night long by the teenagers who were running up and down the hall and stairs
Space in rooms was great!
Rooms need at least one chest of drawers and a mirror outside of bathroom. Also breakfast area quite congested!
The room and breakfast was amazing loved it!
It was a bit noisy at times
The location and breakfast included is good, the instalations of the hotel are good but not fantastic.
Some publicity that cames behind the door and the person that attends the phones of the publicity are not a less friendly, that flyers gives a poor quality of the hotel.
